With a total population of around 8,500 residents encompassing the natural communities of Seaton Carew and Jutland Road Estate, stretching up to the newly renovated Tees Bay Retail Park.
The ward covers a large geographical area and includes key industrial, commercial and business areas as well as a number of residential estates and coastline adding to Hartlepool’s tourist offerings.
Seaton ward offers a number of community facilities and resources including Seaton Carew Library, Seaton Carew Youth Centre, Seaton Carew Community Centre and The Bungalow at Golden Flatts School.
The ward boasts Seaton Carew beach, areas of nature reserve and a number of historic listed buildings, including Seaton Carew’s art deco Bus Station and clocktower.
